Ugborodo lays fresh siege to Chevron, Warri office


THE dispute between the people of Ugborodo, an Itsekiri  riverine community in Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State and Chevron Nigeria Limited, CNL, which started, last Tuesday, with the villagers laying siege to the company’s facility in Escravos deepened this morning. Nigeria's army has declared three people, including a journalist, wanted for allegedly concealing information on Chibok girls abducted in April 2014, a spokesman said Monday.
Colonel Sani Usman told AFP that local journalist Ahmad Salkida had been in contact with the Islamists, as had Ahmed Bolori and Aisha Wakil.
