Celebrities in Nigeria that rocks as single moms

Women of any age can become single parents at any time either through teenage pregnancy, divorce, separation, death of a spouse or by choice.
Parenting is not such an easy task and it could be more challenging when you are a single parent.
For some being a single mom is not such a big deal but for some others it is, especially when you are a celebrity, constantly in the limelight and have to deal with maintaining a stable family and pursuing your career.
Below is a list of women in the Nigerian entertainment industry who have been single moms for a while and they rock at it.
Genevieve Nnaji:
Nollywood star actress Genevieve gave birth to her daughter when she was still a teenager in secondary school. She single handedly took care of her daughter, Chimebuka, who is now in her 20s without the help of any man. Genevieve still rocks and has a figure that many will die for.
Kate Henshaw:
Talented Nollywood actress, Kate separated from her British husband, Roderick James Nuttal in 2011 after being married for 12 years and the union produced a daughter named Ella. Though the 13-year-old daughter is in Kate's custody, she rarely talks about her, probabl;y to keep her away from the public eye. Kate Henshaw is still a hot mama and many often wonder how she manages to stay trim.

Another rape accusation: Actress reveals how comedian Bill Cosby raped her for years

Barely a week after comedian Hannibal Buress openly called American comedian, Bill Cosby a serial rapist, an actress, Barbara Bowman has come out to reveal how Cosby emotionally abused, sexually abused and raped her when she was 17 years old.
In a very detailed interview with MailOnline, the Bowman narrated how she was 17 when Cosby took her under his wing of guidance, how Cosby allegedly took advantage of her youth, how she endured the ordeal and how she was elated when comedian Buress recently called Cosby a rapist on stage.

Samad Biobaku writes on: Nigerian Churches & Mosques I Once Knew

When I was little,  my Ghanaian teacher,  movies, cartoons, storybooks and everything I saw helped me see the Church and the Mosque as the House of God – A place to go whenever I was afraid, hungry, homeless,  needed something from God or when I did something really bad and needed to ask God for forgiveness with a promise never to do it again.

Zambia Africa gets first white President in 20 years

Zambian Vice-President Guy Scott has become the first white ruler of an African nation in 20 years after the death ofPresident Michael Sata.
Sata died in a London hospital on Tuesday, October 28 and Scott was named interim leader on Wednesday, October 29.
The VP will fill the position until presidential elections can be held 90 days from now in accordance with the country's constitution.
Defence Minister Edgar Lungu said:
"Dr. Scott will act as president of the Republic of Zambia until the country goes for a presidential by-election."
The interim ruler also confirmed his appointment and announced the beginning of the mourning period for the late president.
He said:"Elections for the office of president will take place within 90 days. In the interim I am acting president."
"The period of national mourning will start today. We will miss our beloved president and comrade."
Scott, whose parents were from Scotland, will however not be able to occupy the position of president permanently as he is not eligible to contest for the office due to a provision in Zambia's constitution which bars heads of state with foreign parents.
The last white ruler in Africa was South Africa's F.W. de Klerk who lost to Nelson Mandela in the 1994 election that ended apartheid in the country.

(PHOTOS) Female thief stripped naked by shopkeeper

A female thief who thought she could go free after shoplifting, was handed the most bizarre punishment by the shop owner who caught her in the act and gave her the beating of her life before stripping her naked.
Yu Chung, 28, was caught stealing clothes in a fashion store in China's Zhejiang province and the angry owner of the shop, Mei Hsueh, made sure the red-faced thief was stripped to the waist and bundled into the street as punishment for her efforts.
The furious store owner later told police she was simply handing out a punishment, claiming stripping the thief of her top layer of clothing had prevented her from running away.
Mei said: "This thief was trying to steal my clothes, so I took off some of hers. She'll think twice before she does that again.
"It was meant to be a warning to all those thieves out there to show them that not all shops are a pushover."
The shop owner first pulled off the shoplifter's top before wrenching her bra off her and bundling her into the street.
At one point the young woman fell to the floor and grabs the legs of her tormentor, begging her to give her back her bra so she can cover herself from the crowd gathering to watch the spectacle.

(PHOTO) See Uti and a girl who exposed her nipples

Uti Nwachukwu was recently pictured with a 'queen' who 'exposed' herself in the name of fashion. Indecent exposure is not only embarrassing, its almost irresponsible especially where it comes to exposing intimate parts (like the nipple!)
The tiara spotting lady seemed oblivious of the fact that she had a nip slip moment as she managed a shy smile while posing for the camera. Two things either happened; she got too excited trying to score a pose with Uti or that ratchet fabric on her dress just couldn't hold it together anymore or she has a pair of silicon enhanced boobs making it impossible to feel any sensation otherwise if your top/dress or anything slips to reveal your nipples, you'd feel it!
Next time, dear lady sport an appropriate dress/top and always watch out for unguarded moment like this, either way 'tuck the tip in'! Thats all sorts of shameful and embarrasing.

Army troops isolated after Africa duty tour

WASHINGTON (AP) — An Army two-star general and 11 of his staff are being isolated at the base in Italy upon returning from serving in West Africa to help with the Ebola fight.
The general and his staff were met by Italian security officials wearing full hazardous materials suits when they arrived in Vicenza, Italy, over the weekend, a senior military official said Monday.
Maj. Gen. Darryl A. Williams, the commander who led the U.S. response in Liberia, and the members of his headquarters staff were some of the first troops to go to Liberia and were there to provide the initial assessments of the military needs and to begin coordinate the U.S. response. They did not have contact with Ebola patients.
But the Army told Williams and his staff before leaving Liberia that they would be isolated near their base in Vicenza, Italy, for 21 days and they had prepared for it, said the military official, who was not authorized to discuss the issue publicly by name, so spoke on condition of anonymity.
It's not clear whether Williams and his staff were aware they were going to be greeted by teams dressed in hazmat gear.

7 Reasons you should be thankful for your ex-es

By Sister Bimbo
Looking back on relationships can be a negative experience. Memories can be painful beyond measure.
In consideration of our incredibly broken dating culture, ridiculous technology that's propagating superficiality and social media that always makes matters far more complicated than they should be, it's a miracle any of us are still interested in putting ourselves out there.
On the bright side, no matter how damaging our dating experiences are, we learn something very important from each person we open our hearts to. Thus, I present the following seven lessons we can all thank our exes for:
1. A CRASH COURSE IN WHAT'S BEST DESCRIBED AS "CHEATING FOR DUMMIES."
People say cheaters are all the same. People are correct.
Once you've experienced one cheater, it becomes cake to sniff out another. Does he refuse to leave his phone alone for two minutes? Does his eye twitch when you ask to borrow his laptop?
Is she unreachable for hours at a time with no valid explanation? Is she insecure beyond measure? Ding, ding, ding! We've got a winner.
More importantly, infidelity teaches you about yourself. Whether you're strong enough to say goodbye and stick to it, or strong enough to forgive that person for a mistake, you learn what you're capable of.
Few other situations test you in this way. Despite what people may say, there's no "right" or "wrong" way to go about it; only you can decide what's best, and that knowledge alone is invaluable.
2. LOVE ISN'T ALWAYS ENOUGH.
It's very difficult to illustrate exactly how painful it is to love one side of someone, while simultaneously suffering with the other side, to the point where it's impossible to be together.
Perhaps this person, while one of the most loving, affectionate and vulnerable beings you've ever known, is another person entirely when around other people.
