A fire outbreak believed to have started in the early hours of yesterday morning destroyed four houses, five plazas and a bank building in the popular Balogun market.
The cause of the fire is unknown but men of the fire service were able to arrived at the scene to tackle the blaze.
This comes after a fire also razed a settlement in Ebute Metta, beside the Third Mainland Bridge on Sunday night.
