BRT bus again, kills three on Lekki-Epe road

A Lagos state owned Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) vehicle has knocked down and killed a motor cyclist  and his two passengers along  Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos State.
This development is coming at the heel of a similar incident that occurred around Palmgrove area, where a BRT vehicle was said to have crushed a soldier to death.
Eye-witnesses say  the BRT bus was on high speed when it ran into the motor cyclist  and his passengers as they were about to cross to the other side of the road, killing all three on the spot.
According to the report, the incident caused a minor traffic jam along the road, igniting violent reactions from commercial motorbike riders and street urchins.
Security operatives on arrival at the scene were stoned and chased away by touts.
