Police nab robbers in Benue

Police Safer Highways Patrol team On Tuesday engaged some suspected armed robbery gang who invaded Odoba Hills, along Otukpa/Enugu Road in a gun battle.
DAILY POST gathered that two of the suspects were arrested with a Pump Action riffle together with some cartridges.

All victims of the operation were rescued unhurt by the police.
Efforts are being intensified to apprehend other suspects that fled the scene with bullet wounds, a police source said.
The source in Otukpa told DAILY POST that the State CID, Makurdi is investigating the incident.
