Etiaba, 20 Others Named SANs

The Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC) today listed the son of former Governor of Anambra State, Emeka Etiaba, among the 21 new Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN).
The Chief Registrar of the ?Supreme Court and Secretary of the LPPC, Ahmed Gambo Saleh, who briefed the press on Friday said that the LPPC after its 119th meeting held in Abuja conferred the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria as a mark of excellence to the 21 listed members of the legal profession.

Among the 21 are three academics and 18 advocates.
The are Edward Kunav Ashiekaa, Benson Sopulu Nwankwo, Joseph Sunday Bamogboye, Patrick Ocheja Okolo, Prof. Maxwell Michael Gidado?, Dr. Tahir Maman, former Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Dr. Akinpelu Theophilus Onigbinde, Ibrahim Kanje Bawa, Sanuel Otseilu Zibiri and Adeniyi Ayodele Agegbenmire.
Others are Aderibigbe Ade Adedeji, Emmanuel Chinwenwo Aguma, Dr. Muiz Adeyemi Banire, Emeka Benso Etiaba?, Abimbola Ibironke Akeredolu, Olumuyiwa Akinboro, Gordy Uche, Uchechukwu Valentine Obi, Kehinde Kolawole Eleja, Prof. Paul Oboarenegbe Idornigie and Dr. Oladapo Olumide Olanipekun.
They would be sworn in on the July 21, 2015.
