So far, the Police has secured the area after robbers escaped with loot

The Nigerian Police has boasted that it has secured the Ikorodu area of Lagos where daredevil robbers raided banks in the area.

“Ikorodu Lagos now secured after our officers responded to Bank robbery this morning. Police units remain on ground.

Vanguard gathered the robbers attacked the banks located at Ipakodo Ebute, near Ogolonto in Ikorodu. They were said to have used speed boats in accessing the community, raiding First Bank and another bank in the area.

We learnt the Police are in pursuit of the robbers.

 “Our officers are responding to armed robbery at #Ogolonto Ikorodu Lagos. Citizens are advised to stay off vicinity; Lagos now secured after our officers responded to Bank robbery this morning. Police units remain on ground.”
