Security officers detains Aminu Tambuwal, bars legislators

According to emerging reports, armed security officials have invaded the National Assembly complex in Abuja.
The house is due to reconvene for a special sitting today, November 20, and the armed officers are reportedly at the complex to prevent the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal from gaining entrance into the building.
Reports have it that Tambuwal was tear gassed by the officers and other legislators have also been denied entry into the building leading some of them to scale the gate.
The ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called for Tambuwal's resignation due to his defection from the PDP to the All progressives Congress.
