On November 16 Evening, a female suicide bomber blew herself up at a mobile phone market in Azare Bauchi State, killing several people. A witness told AFP:
"A suicide bomber came into the market as it was closing and blew herself up in the middle of all the merchants and their customers."
Another witness, Aliyu Habib said:
"I saw at least eight dead and lots of others wounded."
