The Public Relations Officer, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Mr Fabian Benjamin, has said that a total of 400 centres would be used nationwide for this year's all Computer Based Test (CBT), scheduled to commence on March 9.
He said this in Lagos on Saturday. He said that the board has been on a working tour of all the centres nationwide in the past few weeks to inspect facilities put in place for the successful conduct of the examination, adding that so far, everything was going according to plan and the board was doing everything possible to deploy logistics for the successful conduct of the examination.
According to the PRO, over 1. 4 million candidates would be participating in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination during this maiden all CBT mode. He said that the board was migrating fully from its conventional Paper Pencil Test and the Dual Based Test to the CBT during the forthcoming examination. Benjamin also urged candidates to prepare fully for the examination, stating that there was nothing strange or difficult about the CBT mode.
