Residence of Aribo Street, Olodi-Apapa area of Lagos state are still in a state of confusion as to why a 55 year-old man known as Isiaka Akanbi, a 55-year-old killed his 65 year-old lover after having sex in an hotel in the area.
The man who has been arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti,
Yaba, is currently telling the police what he knows about Risikat Raheem death.
According reports, Akanbi had invited Raheem to the hotel
for their usual sex romp at about 7 pm on the fateful day but while they were
in the room, a disagreement ensued between them which resulted in a fight that
turned fatal when Akanbi descended on the woman and she died in the process.
After killing the woman, Akanbi attempted to escape from the
hotel but was held back by the management of the hotel which discovered what
happened and was handed over to the police who later retrieved the corpse of
Raheem and deposited it in the mortuary for autopsy.
